My Current Top 10 Favourite Box-sets*.

We all know how much of a TV addict I am by now so you won’t need me to share with you how many hours a week I spend consuming media, which FYI, was enough to almost give me a heart attack! But as Nick and I have been checking out the new Panasonic 4K TV Range* for a potential fancy upgrade for our living room, I felt inspired to share what box-sets I’ve been loving recently.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared a list of my favourite box-sets before but I’ve really been enjoying a few new ones that have landed a firm spot in my top ten list. They’re a mixed bag but I hope you find something that tickles your fancy!

1. The Vampire Diaries.
Now, I’d heard so much about this show for yeaars and I always pre-judged and thought this wasn’t for me. Fast forward 2 weeks of intense binge watching sessions and I’m kind of obsessed. It can get pretty confusing if you don’t pay attention properly but it’s really easy watching and I challenge you all to not fall desperately in love with Damon.

2. Peep Show.
I recently watched through this again for the 23940238 time and it’s just brilliant. It’s so easy to watch and so enjoyably British. It still has some of the best television I’ve ever seen in the last season when Mark has a dinner party, if you’ve seen it you’ll know what I’m talking about.

3. Q.I.
This is probably not an average pick, but it’s always fun to combine learning and comedy! As much as I miss good old Stephen Fry, I’ve really been enjoying the new seasons with Sandi Toksvig.

4. Mad Men.
I’ve recently rekindled my love for this show after Netflix randomly removed it years ago, but finally I’m catching up with the final seasons. I really urge you to watch this show if you haven’t already, it’s so interesting and the sets and costume are just outstanding.

5. Brooklyn Nine Nine.
All you need to know is that Andy Samberg is my bae and it has Terry Crews in it. Need I say anymore?

6. Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
Now I have to confess something with this one, I have multiple friends that have been telling me to watch this for years. I’ve tried a few times but haven’t really been bothered by it. However I decided to give it one last try and I’ve somehow ended up 4-5 seasons deep. I like the fact that every episode is separate from one another so you don’t need to pay particular attention, which makes for very easy watching.

7. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
If I’m honest, I lost interest in this during the second season but I decided to give season 3 a shot. If you only watch the episode where Titus recreates Beyonce’s Lemonade, you won’t regret it.

8. Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I started this last year for the first time, I knowwww I wish I’d watched this when growing up, but I love Buffy so so much. I really need to go back and finish watching it ASAP.

9. Gavin and Stacey.
I couldn’t talk about box-sets without mentioning my favourite people of all time, Gavin and Stacey. You probably think I’m lying when I say I watch through this at least once a month but nope, I really am that obsessed. This just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy when watching it and never fails to comfort and cheer me up. Everyone needs a show like Gavin and Stacey in their arsenal.

10. 24.
Nick convinced me to watch this show, despite me thinking it wasn’t for me for a very long time. It’s probably one of the best suspense and action filled TV programs I have ever watched. It’s a classic and you should watch it!

So there are my current top 10 favourite box-sets! Do you love all of the same shows as I do or have you spotted a few you’re going to shamelessly binge watch this weekend? No judgement here! If you think I’d love a show that I haven’t mentioned, please please let me know so I can check it out, as I love new TV suggestions!
