78 Fun Date Ideas For 2019

After spending the last 5 years of my life with a person who basically wanted to do nothing, I spent a long time not living my best life. I’ve got this new found excitement again for exploring, adventures and making plans.

I was in the kitchen at work talking to a friend and he told me that he had a jar full of fun date ideas and once a month him and his girlfriend picked one to do. It really got me thinking about all the things I wanted to do, so I sat with my boyfriend and we made a huge (and constantly growing) list of fun things date ideas.

The rules.

There are no real rules, other than you should probably pick things you’d both enjoy doing or would be willing to do for one another as a compromise.

We tried to pick things that were varying in cost because some things can definitely be quite expensive. We decided to make the list with the plan to pick 1 thing a month to do, however that doesn’t always go to plan, but the intention is there! Some are seasonal or weather dependant too, so are only suited to certain times of year.

I currently have this exact list on my phone and everytime we do one I tick it off. We recently did an Escape Room (it was my first time!) and it was SO much fun and totally worth the £20 each for the experience, this one will stay on the list as I want to do more!

So I thought I’d share our list with my readers in the hope to inspire some fun adventures, as when I’ve told people about this list, they’ve loved the idea and wanted to see it.
