Things I Watched In January 2018.

This year I’m making a conscious effort to watch new things. I know how easy it is to get sucked into the trap of comfort TV shows that you know and love. It’s so easy to do isn’t it? I mean right now I’m sat with Friends running in the background whilst I write this…
a few new films I watched in January in my efforts to branch away from my normal watching habits. netflix films cinema thrillers horror www.sweetallure.co.uk
I’m one of those people who have so many films they want to see in the cinema but never seem to get around to actually going, hence why Netflix is my bff. I’ve actually watched more new things than I thought I had whilst compiling this list which makes me excited to tick more and more off my (ever growing) list.

Films.

Spider-man Homecoming
As Above, So Below
National Treasure
National Treasure: Book of Secrets
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2
Mother!
Baby Driver
Nocturnal Animals
IT
Killing Of A Sacred Deer
In Bruges
Bright
When Harry Met Sally
Captain Phillips

TV.

Friends
The End Of The Fucking World
New Girl Season 1
The Office (USA)

I find when I’m watching TV it’s easier to just throw on something I’m used to or have seen before. I find it’s easier to watch a comfort show than investing a lot of time into a potential show I don’t like. However when it comes to films I love to experiment more and try new things. I’ve really enjoyed branching out and watching something I wouldn’t normally pick. What films would you recommend watching? As I’d love to know your suggestions are so I can add them to my list! If you want to watch some comfort shows then you can read my top 5 comfort box sets I always go back to.

I also watched Killing of a Sacred Deer. Great plot, but I feel it could have been executed a bit better, the first half of the movie was quite slow.
