10 Little Things I Noticed This Week.

Sometimes, it’s nice to take a little step back from the hustle and bustle of life and really strip it back. I take a daily work during my lunch hour at work to really escape from it all and go back to nature. It made me think I should write this 10 little things I noticed this week post, to really appreciate the little things, y’ano?

10 Little Things I Noticed This Week Sweet Allure

01. The sounds of the birds.
Whether it’s waking up to the sound of them in the morning or the happy chirping of them during my walks, there is something so relaxing about it.

02. Tiny snails coming out after the rain.
I noticed on a walk home in the rain a tiny little snail. It was so cute, I just stood and watched it for a little while in awe at how amazing the world can be.

03. How my wibbly wobbly bits don’t wobble so much.
I’ve been exercise and going to the gym (read the start of my fitness journey here) and after sticking it out for a couple of month, i’m noticing little things like my wobbly bits not wobbling so much anymore.

04. A glass of wine after work.
I’m not much of a drinker at all and occasionally I’ll buy a bottle of wine so I can have a glass of wine when I get in from work. This week has been one of those rare weeks but it’s so nice having a nice cold glass of rosé when I get in from work to just un-wind and relax.

05. Candles and blankets.
I’ve never made it a secret that I’m an autumn/winter girl through and through, so starting to light my candles and snuggling up in a blanket seems like such a little thing, but it makes me so happy. If you want to hate on summer like me, here are 10 thoughts people who hate summer have.

06. Twitter.
I can’t believe that once upon a time I didn’t enjoy twitter….shocking I know. But I love going on and chatting to you lovely lot. I spoke to lots of new people via DM this week about the new Game of Thrones episode and it just made me smile.

07. Games of Thrones.
I couldn’t write a blog post about little things I’ve noticed this week, without mentioning Game of Thrones. I get genuinely excited and loooooooove chatting about theories and whatnot with people. I’m so passionate about film and TV and seeing everyone enjoying something really fills me with joy.

08. A morning coffee.
I have a coffee every morning at work, it’s a little routine that I just love and I miss on weekend. I’ve struggled to sleep this week so it’s certainly a little thing I’ve appreciated more than usual this week.

09. Cheese.
I’ve rediscovered a good strong cheddar this week and now I can’t get enough! haha.

10. Painting.
I mention this one all the time, but I love painting and I find it super relaxing. I love seeing something come to life and feeling like I’ve done something productive with my time. You can see all of my works in my Etsy Store.

I hope you liked this post about the 10 little things I’ve noticed this week, I’d love to hear what little things you’ve loved or appreciated recently? Sometimes it’s really nice to pay attention to those little things that you wouldn’t normally.

I love this! Such a cute little post. It’s lovely to just stop and look at those things around me. For me this week it would be family, with my move to Aylesbury I’m living with my uncle and the rest of my family isn’t that far away. Family is soo important to me and I feel with moving away I’ve noticed this a lot more! I definitely love this post, it certainly makes you think about things.

  • I know what you mean about not being much of a drinker – I’m the same, but I actually have been feeling like an evening rosé after a hard day too! Any brand recommendations?

  • What a lovely post! It’s so easy to take everything for granted as we hurry through our day. I love the sounds of birds, too. Super relaxing, and always puts a smile on my face! x http://www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
