10 Fun Things To Do On A Rainy Day.

It may be the middle of the British summer but we are all too familiar with rainy days. I love having those cosy rainy days all wrapped up warm indoors and watching my favourite films and shows on Netflix. I wanted to share 10 fun things to do on a rainy day so you can take full advantage when the next one comes around!

10 Things To Do On A Rainy Day Sweet Allure

01. Duvet day.
Is there truly anything better than dragging your duvet to your sofa and cosying up in-front of the TV with a hot chocolate?

02. Gaming session.
I very rarely get time to play games now days, so having a whole day to just game to my hearts content is the dream. If you have any retro games consoles hanging around why don’t you dig them out and spend the day in nostalgia. Who doesn’t love Mario Kart or Spyro the Dragon??

03. Get crafty.
I love painting, knitting and cross stitching and getting the chance to indulge in it from time to time is really fun.

04. Reading.
Put the kettle on, snuggle up in bed or on the sofa and really get stuck into a good book. This is one of my favourite things to do and I often make my way through an entire book in one sitting!

05. Pamper yourself.
Get a face mask on, paint your nails or have a bath. Do all of those things that we often forget to do but feel so great to do. Having a bit of self care time can be really helpful with mental health and remind you to take care of yourself.

06. Bake something tasty.
I love baking tasty treats! Imagine baking some brownies or cookies and the smell filling the house and you snuggling up on the sofa in your duvet, watching your favourite TV shows and munching on scrummy baked goods. Perfection.

07. Organizing something.
Your wardrobe, your paper work or your Disney Tsum Tsum collection, it feels good to do something productive on a rainy day.

08. Play board games.
I actually love playing board games or card games and its’ a great way to challenge yourself mentally whilst taking a much needed break from social media or computer screens.

09. Plan a trip.
Nothing like a rainy day to get you excited for escaping somewhere warm, sunny and new. I love planning our next adventures!

10. Writing or reading blog posts
I love spending a rainy day planning content, taking photos, organizing and writing blog posts. Or taking some time to catch up on all the awesome blogs I love to read.
