I’m not quite sure how, but Sweet Allure turned two recently. Time is such a strange thing, it seems to drag, day by day, but somehow in a blink of an eye, years pass by.
I honestly had no idea 2 years ago that I’d still be writing for my blog 3 times a week. That I would have met some awesome people, had many awesome opportunities. That my blog would bring me close to people on the internet that I’ve never even met, but still talk to on a regular basis. Blogging is a wonderful wonderful thing. It’s ignited passions in me that I never thought I had. Writing, of course, but also deepened my love for photography and allowing me to explore my creativity with painting. I’ve even started experimenting with poetry, which is an exciting new venture for you and me both.
I guess I’m writing this post just to say a big old well done to myself. 2 years sticking to something is a pretty great accomplishment and I should cherish that, rather than letting it pass by without celebration. I should be proud of the effort I’ve put into building up my website, my content, my shop and all of my followers. We really should celebrate ourselves and all the awesome things we can achieve if we put our mind to it. I wanted to highlight just a few things I’m super proud of in this post, a few things that I never thought I’d ever do! So here are a couple of my proudest moments, I hope you enjoyed them too!
My Etsy shop, which has been growing over the last few months, if any of you would like to pick something up from my shop it would honestly mean the world to me!
My SMEAR test post, which has had so much feedback, I’m so proud I got the courage to share my story and help others feel less alone.
My YouTube channel, I’ve always wanted to make a channel but I’ve always been super scared to get in front of the camera instead of behind of it. I love watching Vlog’s and thought I’d give it a try. I’m enjoying it and getting used to it, so come give me a follow if you want to support me!
And finally, my Instagram account. I’ve recently changed my Instagram to focus on my photography and i’m so happy with it. I’d love it if you headed over to check it out and let me know what you think!
So let’s eat some cake, any excuse right? and celebrate ourselves and all the things we are proud of doing. Here’s to the next 2 years and more! Thank you for always being so supportive in all my little projects, I appreciate you all so so much and it brings me joy every single day talking to you all. I hope you still around to see the rest of my journey <3
Happy 2nd birthday Sweet Allure!
